Daycare Wiedikon

The Kita Märliwält Wiedikon offers children a loving place to discover, grow, and feel comfortable. Since June 2017, we have been caring for up to 12 children aged 3 months to kindergarten entry in our mixed-age group. In a safe atmosphere, children learn playfully to consider one another and learn from each other – an important foundation for their social development.

Our Kita is located in a modernly designed maisonette apartment on Staffelstrasse. The bright, light-filled rooms provide space for creativity and adventure. Our enchanting treehouse is particularly popular – a place for dreaming, reading, or hiding. With great attention to detail, we create an environment that meets the needs and interests of the children.

The proximity to Zurich Allmend opens up numerous opportunities for excursions into nature. Whether forest adventures, Kloppstock meadow, or Koller meadow – children experience nature up close and gather valuable experiences. Older children look forward to exciting forest days, while the youngest enjoy age-appropriate care in the Kita.

With us, every child is at the center of attention. With a structured, needs-oriented daily routine and warm care, we accompany each child individually on their developmental path. Our facilities are lovingly designed to enable both retreat and creative play.

Like all Kitas of the Märliwält, we also place the utmost importance on high educational quality in Wiedikon. An above-average care ratio ensures that we meet the needs of each child. Our team regularly continues their education and is part of the quality initiative of the city of Zurich in collaboration with the ZHAW. This guarantees continuous improvement of our work and provides your child with the best possible care.
